    Dr. Cynthia Lin, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience in treating individuals with diverse clinical backgrounds. Dr. Lin is bilingual, fluent in both English and Mandarin/Chinese. As a scientist practitioner, Dr. Lin offers specialized and comprehensive mental health services, including psychotherapy, psychometric assessment and testing, and clinical consultation. Her treatment areas focus on mental health issues, mood disorders (anxiety and depression), relationship and workplace conflict, OCD, maladaptive behaviors, and everyday life dissatisfaction. Dr. Lin’s approaches are primarily rooted in cognitive-behavioral theory and dialectical behavioral therapy, understanding the connections between thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. She incorporates principles from empirically supported treatment techniques reflecting up-to-date research and also utilizes Eastern techniques such as meditation, mindfulness, controlled breathing, and relaxation skills, to assist all patients in treatment.
